Konstantin Chaykin Joker - the world's first watch with a face - the eyes tell the time

In April 2024, at the "Masters of Horology" fair in Geneva, Konstantin Chaykin unveiled the Joker Classic, a new watch from the Wristmons collection – a line known for its anthropomorphic dials, affectionately called "Wrist Monsters." Its launch had been eagerly anticipated by connoisseurs of the brand and haute horlogerie for seven years.

Back in 2017, Konstantin Chaykin presented the first Joker at Baselworld, the first model in the Wristmons collection, which quickly gained fame.

For the first time, the watchmaker created a wristwatch with an anthropomorphic dial, in which the hour and minute hands form eyes and the moon phase indicator forms a smiling mouth.

This new product immediately attracted the attention and admiration of all who saw it, awakening in collectors the desire to own this masterpiece of watchmaking. Unsurprisingly, the first Joker, encased in steel and limited to 99 pieces, quickly became a bestseller and sold out even before the end of Baselworld 2017.

The Wristmons family
The Joker was the origin of the now large Wristmons family with over 30 unique and limited editions.

Although most models are now valuable components of private collections, the original Joker remains a coveted dream for many.

A reproduction of this series is of course out of the question: its unparalleled status as the progenitor of all Wristmons is undisputed.

But now the long-awaited moment has arrived for connoisseurs of the brand. With the Joker Classic, Konstantin Chaykin has once again taken on the ambitious challenge of creating a completely new watch while retaining the iconic design that has made the collection so successful. The result is simply remarkable:

A completely new movement, specially developed for this model;

The reinterpretation of the classic Joker design through innovative techniques;
A reduction in the diameter of the steel case to a more comfortable 40 mm.
