Rolex Milsub Reference 5513 Service Watch for the British Royal Marines

Rolex also occasionally manufactured watches for military purposes. The "Military Submariner" was developed for the British military in the 1970s.

The watch differed from the classic "Submariner" primarily in the design of its hands. The military version of the model featured sword-shaped hands, which allowed for more luminous elements, ensuring better readability in the dark.

The model with reference 5513 from this period is particularly sought after, as only about 1500 of this watch exist.

Today it is traded at auctions for well over 100,000 euros.
