Borgward Time Manufactory Watches Age Determination

BORGWARD – The Clocks.
Admiration for an extraordinary individual and his life's work inspired the highly skilled engineer and visionary Jürgen Betz to design the BORGWARD B511 watch. "My grandfather would have liked it," was the motivating confirmation from Eric Borgward – grandson of the brilliant automobile manufacturer and a long-time friend of Jürgen Betz. The foundation for the BORGWARD timepiece manufactory was laid.
Since its founding in July 2010, the watch collection has expanded beyond the limited edition B511 (511 pieces) to include two further model lines: the P100 (limited to 1890 pieces) and the B2300 (limited to 1942 pieces). All models are the perfect example of handcrafted watches "Made in Germany," refined with Swiss technology.
The BORGWARD watch line is purely mechanical. The movements are Swiss-made and consist of the ETA 2824-2 three-hand automatic movement with a calendar function at six o'clock, as well as the Valjoux 7750 chronograph movement, which is also commonly used in luxury watches. The movements are meticulously finished in the BORGWARD time manufactory before being assembled, resulting in a visual and functional masterpiece.
In 2012, another special feature was released: the BORGWARD Regulateur No. 1. The engine of this limited series of 65 pieces is a historic hand-wound caliber from the late 1950s, which is rebuilt and refined in the BORGWARD time manufactory. Every watch that leaves the manufactory carries a piece of the magnificent "BORGWARD legend" to its proud owner. A commitment to which Jürgen Betz and his partners have dedicated themselves.
