Commercial production at Bulle began around the third quarter of 1920.
It was discontinued in 1939 and only resumed after the war. After Bulle's death, it was finally discontinued in 1954.
A total of about 330,000 watches were produced, all of which were apparently consecutively numbered
Despite the English-sounding name, this is a French company.
The Bulle Clock is arguably the most common electric clock on collectors' markets. It was sold approximately 300,000 times between the two World Wars.
The Bulle-Clock owes its great success to the fact that its developers not only provided it with instructions for use for buyers.
There were also detailed repair instructions for the seller, usually a watchmaker, so that the reservations against electric watches that were widespread at that time (and later on) were reduced by the watchmakers.
