Candino Watch Altersbestimmung - Sammler-Uhren

Candino Watch age determination

Adolf Flury-Hug founded the company Candino in 1947 by setting up his traditional watchmaking workshop in an extension of the family property in Herbetswil (Canton Solothurn). The small workshop still stands proudly today, right next to the state-of-the-art watch factory, which was inaugurated in 1989 .

That it has so successfully withstood the ravages of time and modernization is no accident, but rather symbolic of Candino's determination to remain true to the principles of its founders. The "Swiss Made" seal of quality stands for the outstanding quality of Swiss products. To earn this seal, Candino adheres strictly to the requirements of Swiss watchmaking tradition and relies on cutting-edge technologies and state-of-the-art materials. Furthermore, the company subjects its products to rigorous quality controls at every stage of production. Because Candino aims to keep pace with the constant changes in the market, the company regularly modernizes its production facilities and adapts its management style accordingly.

    • Reference number (model-specific, usually on the case back)

    • Serial number (often on the movement or case back)

For modern Candino watches, the serial number is kept internally at Festina.

Historical watches (pre-2000) can sometimes be roughly dated using movement or catalog characteristics.
