Timeline

1860: 24-year-old Louis-Ulysse Chopard founded a precision manufacturer of pocket watches and chronometers in Sonvilier, Switzerland.

1904: Founding of the brand “Karl Scheufele”, which specializes in jewelry watches and is sold under the name Eszeha.

1913: First advertising campaign for Chopard entitled “LUCL-U. Chopard Watch Factory, founded in 1860.”
