Rare Auricoste Column Wheel Chronograph of the French Air Force from World War II "Ministre de la Guerre" in the rarest original packaging
The French military watch manufacturer Auricoste was known to be the main supplier to the French army and air force in World War II. The military provenance and use is clearly documented by the original case with the imprint "Ministre de la Guerre" and the military bottom signature "Guerre SC 4700"!

Unsigned column wheel chronograph movement
Unsigned dial with 30 and 60 minute counters, high-quality blued steel hands in Breguet style, central seconds
Pressed back with inner movement protection cover, case engraving "Guerre SC 4700". Supplied in the original packaging from approx. 1940 with outer imprint "Ministre de la Guerre" and the presumed model number 200347 as well as the designation "Premiere Qualiteé". Inside is an imprint of the manufacturer "J. Auricoste Horloger de la Marine"
Unrestored dial immaculate with inner 24h scale and surrounding railway minute track
