Lange&Söhne / Walter Lange Pforzheim luxury ladies' wristwatch ca. 1960 mechanical

As is well known, the eldest son and "heir to the throne" of the former Lange & Söhne Glashütte watch manufactory, Walter Lange, went to Pforzheim after the Second World War, when the Russian victors dismantled the remains and machines of the former manufactory in Glashütte as war booty and brought them to Russia, and produced his own watches there.

Initially signed "Lange, formerly Glashütte," they were later simply signed "Lange Uhr" or simply "Lange." Manufacture movements from other German manufacturers were used, although it was clear that the heir to the best German watch manufacturer in Glashütte used and installed only the finest and highest-quality movements. Some of these movements were even refined in Pforzheim.
