History of the Munich court watchmaker Huber (source: WatchWiki):
Huber, Martin
Former owner and managing director of the long-established Uhren Huber watch shop in Munich, with three branches in the city center (since acquired by the Swiss watch department store and manufacturer Bucherer ). Uhren Huber held the title of "Royal Bavarian Court Watchmaker," awarded by the then Bavarian Prince Regent in 1912. Martin Huber successfully led the Andreas Huber watch shop (always called "Uhren Huber" in Munich), which he took over as the fourth generation of the family, for decades and became one of the most well-known and respected watchmakers in Germany. He was close friends and acquaintances with other well-known figures in the watch industry, such as Günter Blümlein and Gerd-Rüdiger Lang .
With his books on Patek Philippe (together with Alan Banbery) and on A. Lange & Söhne, Martin Huber has created two standard works of watch literature
