Offered is a rare, 100% handmade working model of an Incabloc shock absorber from probably the 50s/60s, when Incabloc was introduced into wristwatches and was thus also available in retail and at the watchmaker
Probably a decorative piece and promotional item either from Incabloc itself or a watch manufacturer that offered Incabloc movements for explanation or decoration in retail
Case dimensions: 100mm x 100mm x 27mm, pressed, "Incabloc" signed plastic case with an oversized, partly only painted Incabloc shock absorber and simulated ruby bearing
The brass-colored balance wheel is made of plastic and swings freely, the balance staff is plugged in and not particularly well secured (not necessary for a decorative piece), it can come loose and be reinserted firmly
There are noticeable slight streaks on the clear plexiglass. I have spent half an hour scrubbing it, both with spirit and with washing-up liquid and hot water with cotton buds. The case is definitely clean now, and it is much, much better, i.e., cleaner than at the beginning, but when water or spirit dry, slight streaks always form partially
No idea what it is, it can't be grease or oil after repeated use of spirit, an experienced housewife needs to tackle it to permanently remove it (see photos)
Super rare and sought-after artifact, now probably a unique and decorative piece in the collector's market
