Exclusive, rarest Movado Ermeto Master Cal. 624M cult travel clock / wallet watch in a rare version with indirect second hand on the side
The rare Movado Ermeto model "Master" - recognizable by the "M" behind the movement number - is made of gray cast iron and not stainless steel (Movado technical term: "Grisite"), slightly larger than the "normal" Ermeto and, in addition to the rare M movement, has an equally rare manual winding mechanism. The watch is not wound automatically by opening and closing, but like a wristwatch, by hand.
Attention! The Movado Ermeto has often been copied or built under license by other well-known manufacturers. This is a rare original Movado example, and it's the "Master" model with the super-rare Caliber 5M movement in the rare version with indirect second hand and manual winding!
Outer material: genuine exotic skin (with clear signs of wear - see photos) in dark brown color.
Ivory dial, gold-plated indices, rare large indirect second at the 3 o'clock position, circa 1950s, 17 ruby bearings, Incabloc shock protection, fold-out stand for use as a table clock, case dimensions: 34 mm wide and 51 mm long (74 mm extended)
Movement: rarest Movado caliber 624M, this magnificent luxury artifact runs continuously (accuracy not tested)
EZ: 2 - little signs of age or use, genuine leather outer skin shows the clear signs of wear as shown in the pictures, but no cracks or holes, runs on and through
I would like to expressly thank eBay member maniloehr for detailed information about this rare piece!
