Heuer stopwatch with rattrapante chronograph (split-seconds hand), smooth nickel case, three-cover watch with hinged inner movement cover, enamel dial with 100-second divisions, 30-minute counter, lever escapement, circa 1960, substantial 55mm diameter
Rattrapante means that the column-wheel chronograph has two hands for timing intermediate times, whereby one can stop intermediate times and, after the intermediate time has been stopped, the other hand continues to run.
This magnificent piece of watchmaking history starts up and runs (accuracy not tested, date of last service unknown)
EZ: 2 - good collector's condition! Few visible signs of age or use, unrestored dial in excellent condition, runs and functions.
