An absolutely unique rarity and almost one-of-a-kind Hanhart and rally sport history in original packaging:
An original Hanhart Classic Rallye 3-stopwatch dashboard set, assembled by Hanhart and delivered in its original packaging, fully mounted on a mounting plate.
The purpose and use of this unique set in rally sport is demonstrated by the addition of a completely ordinary "daytime" pocket watch, because only in rally sport does the time of day or information such as "when does the sun set?" play any role at all.
Naturally, Hanhart's high-quality stopwatches were and still are popular in motor racing and are either installed on the aftermarket or assembled by drivers/hobbyists themselves on plates for mounting in the cockpit of a racing car.
Hanhart itself never officially manufactured or offered such dashboard instrument sets in a catalog.
Nevertheless, this is an (extremely rare) absolutely 100% original Hanhart production from a single source, which is clearly evidenced by the presumably hand-fitted and handcrafted, signed original packaging in fine wood.
Hanhart has produced and delivered such sets on a few occasions on a special order basis for racing teams, for companies as gifts, or for special events such as the Paris-Dakar Rally.
Each of these orders therefore represents a virtually unique Mini, a special edition Mini. Hanhart collectors and rally sport experts assume that Hanhart delivered fewer than 200 individual units of such extremely limited series.

Original Hanhart dashboard plate with three clocks, Hanhart, chrome-plated, brushed, featuring two stopwatches, one polished, one chrome-plated and brushed, and a day-time clock with small seconds.
Included: A Hanhart Classic Additions/Rallye Stopper in the rarest black dial version with the Hanhart Rallye symbol. The white "standard" Classic stopwatch in the center also features this extremely rare emblem on its dial.
Clock diameter 55 mm, Hanhart lever, dashboard dimensions 20 x 6 cm, very good condition, possibly never used, but certainly very rarely, in original Hanhart wooden box
The stopwatches are fully functional! Signed movements are spotless, cases and crystals show no discernible signs of age or wear, unrestored dials are in excellent condition.
