Offered is a very rare piece of German and military history, a "Stowa Armée Francaise" from around 1950
This rare model was built less than 3000 times and delivered by Germany to the French Army as war reparations in 1950
Description:
Wristwatch of the brand Stowa so-called "Armee Francaise" around 1950
Case diameter: 32mm, stainless steel, manual winding, screw back inscribed "Armee Francaise 2335"
Anchor movement caliber 422, 17 jewels, signed black dial with luminous hands and numerals, red central second, luminous hands, luminous numerals, high-quality screwed case back as used on Wehrmacht service watches until 1945
Less than three thousand of these watches were delivered by Germany to France as war reparations in the early 1950s
The historical piece runs on and on (accuracy not tested)
EZ 1 - 2: Exceptionally good condition, possibly an unused piece from storage. Unrestored dial in top condition, little to no signs of age or wear on the case, tarnishing.
