Urech NAVY Automatic Diver 200M – ETA 2782, nicknamed "Baby Panerai"
According to Mikrolisk, the Urech brand was registered in Biel, Switzerland, in 1943. This example is a rare diver's watch from the 1970s, which collectors refer to as the "baby version" of a renowned Italian luxury brand due to its case shape.
At 40mm, the watch is anything but baby-sized, especially since its angular shape makes it appear even larger. The case was once pressure-resistant to 200 meters, despite the (originally) unscrewed crown.
The condition is good all around, the case front is decorated with a sunburst finish, the bezel, which is also made of stainless steel, can be rotated in both directions
Also noteworthy is the shimmering blue dial with white and red accents on the luminous indices. A stylish rubber band in a rally design is mounted on the 19mm-wide lugs, and the date on the ETA 2782 movement is quickly set at crown level 1.
