2-part faceted and glazed wooden case, dial and movement numbered identically 8283,
Gimbal-mounted plastic case, painted, bezel screwed, on the back the Bundeswehr supply number 6645-12-127-7670 and 'BNDESWEHR'
Silver, unrestored dial with patina, 56-hour power reserve indicator at "12", oversized eccentric seconds at "6", original blued Breguet-style hands, silver movement, chain/fusée drive, compensation balance with cylindrical hairspring
External dimensions of the wooden case approx. 18 x 18.5 x 18.5 cm
This magnificent piece of marine chronometer history starts and runs (accuracy not tested)
